Information you provide directly: We do not require you to create an account. If you contact us via email, we collect your name and email address to respond to your inquiry.

Automatically collected information: When you use Safora, we may collect:

• Device type, operating system version, and app version
• Crash logs and diagnostic data (anonymised)
• In-app purchase records (processed securely by Apple)
• Usage statistics (e.g. which features are used, session duration) — collected in aggregate, not linked to personal identity

Media and files: Safora processes your photos, videos, and other media entirely on your device. No media files are ever transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers. All analysis — including duplicate detection, video compression, and Secret Space storage — occurs locally on your iPhone.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Safora app
• Improve, personalise, and expand our app's features
• Understand and analyse how you use the app
• Develop new products, services, and features
• Communicate with you regarding support requests
• Monitor and fix technical issues and crashes

4. On-Device Processing

All core Safora functionality — including photo and video scanning, duplicate detection, video compression, and Secret Space — operates entirely on your device. Your media is never uploaded to our servers. We have no access to the contents of your photo library or Secret Space vault.

5. Third-Party Services

Safora uses the following third-party services that may collect information:

• Apple App Store & In-App Purchases: Payments and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple. We receive confirmation of purchase status but never your payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to this data.
• Analytics (if applicable): We may use privacy-first analytics tools to collect anonymised, aggregated usage data to improve the app. No personally identifiable information is shared.

6. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy. Diagnostic and analytics data is retained in anonymised, aggregate form. If you contact us via email, we retain your correspondence for up to 2 years.

7. Children's Privacy

Safora is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete such information.
